Hot “spots,” flashing colors, driving “riffs,” smooth “keys,”
vocals booming out six decades of melodies… chances are you’re telling someone
about the last time you saw “the crew,”…the BAD MEDICINE crew. And the music…
well, the intent of their song selection is to keep you dancing all night. The
musical versatility of this band allows you to be transported through a virtual
timeline of music. You can depart from Graceland with Elvis, stop for awhile
with Janis and Steppenwolf, enjoy some “Doobies,” witness the soaring grace of
The Eagles, feel the pulse of the “heartland” with Petty and Mellencamp, party
with Buffett, rock it up with Aerosmith, REO, and Creed, walk 3 Doors Down into
the next century to Matchbox Twenty and The Foo Fighters. Indeed, it is an all-encompassing
journey, but the musical smorgasbord will truly fill you up. Oh, sorry for
rambling on… that’s BAD MEDICINE.
The idea started taking shape in June of 2001, with three of the
seven musicians. A lot of growth and practicing was needed before the crew
finally “came out of the basement and went public with their intentions” on
April 13, 2002. They continue to flourish on their original principal belief of
being a very, very, good “cover” band that focuses mostly on “the classics,”
and convey to the audience that the fun they’re having on stage goes back to
the music…it’s always about playing the music.
Musical versatility, staging, and audience appeal are what this
bunch from
Bad Medicine is:
Phil “Vinny” Bacidore – Guitars/Vocals
Gib Catiller – Guitars/Vocals
Greg “Oreo” Edgin – Guitars/Vocals
Lesa "Diva” Edgin – Lead Vocals/Percussion
